A couple of seagulls swoop
elegantly in circles in the
bright blue sky overhead, a gentle
sea breeze elicits quiet chimes from the metal of
sailboat rigging and the flags of countless nations flutter on the masts
of elegant yachts – the atmosphere in Santa Eulària harbour is
peaceful. On a sunny Ibiza day, the
terrace outside Café Sidney looks particularly welcoming. The
café’s location – right by the harbour promenade – makes it the
ideal place to stop off and relax over lunch.
Cafe Sidney offers an international menu: We will spoil you with Mediterranean, international cuisine, abundant
breakfasts,
delicious fresh salads and tapas round the clock. Catering for yachts and Wifi Internet Access are available for our clients.
The Cafe Sidney crew came from Berlin to Ibiza in 2007 to grant your desires offering spectacular views of the yachting harbour, in an environment
for kids and grown ups.

When we visited “Café Sidney” for lunch, they were right in
the middle of “schnitzel week”, with the motto: eat as much
schnitzel as you can. A starter of fresh mixed-leaf and pepper
salad was followed by three different types of bread.
Then the first round of schnitzel was served, accompanied
by a sweet and sour pepper sauce and chips. The portions
are gigantic. The cutlet is bigger than my plate, which itself is
pretty large. The waitress comes and asks if I want a second
serving and I have to say no because I’m so full that I couldn’t
manage another mouthful. During the “all you can eat
schnitzel” week, the menu doesn’t come with a dessert option.
To be honest, I’m actually quite grateful for this because after
the immense eal that I’ve just eaten, I just don’t have any
space left. I’d much rather order a strong cup of coffee, sit out
in the winter sunshine and simply enjoy the view of the harbour
and its elegant yachts...
